Beavers, Fabian, and Jackson hit well when they saw game action. Beavers went 3-for-8 (.375) with a home run while Fabian went 2-for-5 (.400) with two RBI and three walks. Jackson, who was a Spring Training invite on a Minor League deal, went 3-for-8 (.375) with a home run and a 1.194 OPS.
Bradfield struggled to a 1-for-6 (.167) showing, but that one hit was a long one. He hit a home run on February 25 against the Tigers.
Armbruester got into two games and pitched very well. He totalled 2.2 scoreless innings while striking out two batters and walking just one. He did not yield a single hit. Tavara got into one game and got tagged for two runs on three hits and a walk.
In addition, the Orioles optioned right-hander Colin Selby to Triple-A Norfolk. Selby, 27, got roughed up in his lone game of Spring Training on February 27. In 0.2 innings against the Blue Jays, he was tagged for four earned runs on one hit and two walks. He got into three games with the Orioles last year and tossed four scoreless innings while striking out five batters.
